Sorry for the delay on the news letter I will try to get it out faster from now on. Ok here we go Novembers tournament was Choke canyon. Winners were John Ballard with 6 fish for 9.89 lbs. and Doug Ballard with 5 fish for 8.70 lbs. The Christmas party was held at Dennis Pierz's house. Thanks to all the members and family's that attended it was a good time and good food. I would Like also to thank Bills BBQ for the meat and. cobbler. The January Tournament was Coleto Creek. Winners were Doug Ballard With a big stringer of 8 fish for 16.24 lbs. and Oscar Espinosa with 7 fish for 16.04 lbs. Oscar also had big bass with a 5.84 lb. hog on Sunday. We had 6 members and 1 guest. Travis Fished is Doug Ballard nephew and has fished with us before he had 5 fish for 8lbs. Congratulation to all that attended. The conditions were good for fishing at Coleto we had no moon, cloudy sky's, fog in the mornings. Saturday winds out of the north at 5 to 10. Sunday winds were 15 to 25 out of the south southeast. I feel the problem that we are going too face a lot this season with lakes with water the week before the had a tournament of 150 boats and this week there was a tournament that was put on buy B.A.S.S. so a lot of pressure. Our next tournament is Fayette this will be on February 18th and the 19th. this is our paper tournament. In March we will be going back to Inks, and LBJ. on the 24th and 25th and April will be Amistad on the 21st and 22nd. Please let me know if you are going to Fayette as we will have to get rooms in town. Our next meeting will be at Buzzies on Wednesday February 1st at 6.30pm. That's all the news for now and remember keep fishing. And a bad day fishing is always better then a good day at work.
