TOURNAMENT RULES

A: Largemouth, Spotted, Guadalupe, and Small mouth bass only by artificial lure only and by only one rod at a time and no trolling. Trailering is permitted.

B: All Federal, State, and Local laws apply including Length limits for all species of Bass and water that is posted off-limits or no fishing. Violation is disqualification from the tournament. Less than legal size fish disqualified and will not count for total weight. Each member will have the right to one courtesy bump. TD’s have the right to bump the smallest fish. All measurements will be done on club’s Golden rule.

C: There will be a ½ lbs. penalty per dead fish. No cold, frozen or iced bass will be weighed. No dead fish will be returned to the lake, we must preserve a positive impression to the public.

D: Tournament hour’s safe light to 3:30 pm. Safe light determined by TD’s. Tournament questions to be answers in this order 1st TD’s 2nd Officers. All decisions are final. Any protest must be made to TD’s 20 min. after weigh in. Any protest about fish must be made before fish is returned to the lake.

E: Respect must be given to all other anglers regarding fishing areas, no fishing within 50 yard of another fishermen or women without their permission.

F: Life Jackets must be worn when boat is on plain with kill switch attached. Failure to abide to this rule will result in disqualification for that day.

G: TD’s and person weighing in should be the only ones at scales. You must be recognized by TD’s at the dock at the time of weigh in dead line.

H: NO Alcohol / Illegal drugs during Tournament hours. This is automatic dismissal from the club.

I: Once a lake is chosen it will not be changed unless of extenuating circumstances (floods, drought, larger tournaments, and no hotels) this will be done by emergency meeting of all members and changed on a 2/3 vote. If membership cannot come to agreement then Officers take over.

J: Once a lake is fished it cannot be fished for 3 months. K: Pay out: 60.00 to be paid to TD’s before tournament start, payment to be paid in cash. Payout is to be as so, $10.00 to club, $30.00 to pot, $15.00 big bass, and $5.00 conservation prize. Less than 10 member’s payout is 1st place big bass 60%, 2nd place big bass 40%, 1st overall 60%, 2nd overall 40%. More than 11 members’ big bass is the same with the pot split to be 1st overall 50%, 2nd overall 30%, and 3rd overall 20%. Conservation payout is all members that zero out; name will be drawn out of a hat. The reason for cash is all payout will be done at lake.

L: All boat owners must carry min. liability insurance. In case of accident boater is responsible to provide insurance to other party as well as the club and this can be requested at any time by TD’s or Officers.
